The Supportive Classroom

The Supportive Classroom curriculum was developed at the University of Vermont. The blog and podcast are used to share the ideas and accomplishments of schools that are implementing the Supportive Classroom. The Core Concepts of Belonging, Trust, Sharing and Respect form the foundation of the curriculum.


Swanton Students Present at ECHO Center

A group of 4th graders from the Swanton Central School planned a presentation and an interactive game to share with other children visiting the ECHO Center in Burlington as a part of their Earth Day celebration. The students presented various skits about recycling and set up their version of Earth Day Jeopardy for visitors to play as they enjoyed the various exhibits at the ECHO Lake Aquarium and Science Center.

It was a great day and the students did a fantastic job. They also won the grand prize of a notebook computer for their school! Way to go Swanton students!!!
