Teachers, students and parents have a chance to reflect on the past 4 years of implementing the Supportive Classroom at Swanton Elementary School. This is part 1 of our reflections.
The Supportive Classroom
The Supportive Classroom curriculum was developed at the University of Vermont. The blog and podcast are used to share the ideas and accomplishments of schools that are implementing the Supportive Classroom. The Core Concepts of Belonging, Trust, Sharing and Respect form the foundation of the curriculum.

The Swanton School Team is back from Atlanta. Swanton Elementary School was a finalist for the 2005 National Schools of Character Award. The team was recognized at a special lunch where they received their award! Great Job Swanton students, families, staff and community members.
