Vermont I-Team & ISE Endorsement Program News

The Vermont State I-Team is a State funded team of professionals and parents who provide consultative services to educators and families of students with intensive educational needs including severe multiple disabilities, dual sensory impairments and autism. The Intensive Special Education (ISE) Endorsement Program is a 24-credit course sequence which will result in participants earning an endorsement in Intensive Special Education to add to their Vermont Special Education License.


I-Team Members and Teachers of Students with Visual Impairments to Attend Workshop

On Thursday October 20, 2005, members of the I-Team and State consultants/teachers of students with visual impairments will attend a workshop on Cortical Visual Impairment designed especialy for us. The workshop titled "Honing Our Skills Together" is being offered by the Cortical Visual Impairment Mentorship Project. The Vermont Mentorship team includes Susan Edelman, Coordinator, Kerry Clifford, Marie MacLeod and Tami Trowell.

This workshop represents one of the many activities we are involved in to help us learn more about CVI so we can better serve you and our children and youth who have cortical visual impairments.
